Housatonic Habitat for Humanity selected to participate in Board Development Workshop sponsored by People’s United Community Foundation and Community Resource Exchange
Housatonic Habitat for Humanity leaders were among local leadership of more than two dozen non-profits selected to attend a workshop on Board Development sponsored by People’s United Community Foundation (PUCF). Among those attending were Board President Kent Rohrer, Board Treasurer John Gonski, Executive Director Fran Normann, and Finance Executive Mark Lang. PUCF partnered with Community Resource Exchange (CRE), a nonprofit consulting firm to provide a board development workshop underwritten by PUCF.
Gonski, VP, Customer Experience Manager at People’s United Bank, said “People’s is partnering with CRE to provide this capacity-building workshop at no-cost to their grantees to support them in achieving their missions. The topic of Board Development was determined for this workshop in Westchester by feedback from a survey sent to PUCF grantees in late 2017 to assess their capacity needs and priorities.”
