We celebrated 30 years of building homes, community and hope at our 1st Annual Blueprints & Blue Jeans fundraising event on September 22 at Lounsbury House in Ridgefield. The event featured an inspiring program honoring John Patrick, co-founder and supporter of Housatonic Habitat, a live auction, music by Jim Endee, a wine pull and delicious food & drinks. We are so thankful for the donations from the many local businesses that made the evening so special, especially M&T Bank our underwriting sponsor.

Whether you’re an individual, corporate team, community group, a small group of friends, with skilled experience or not, there are many different ways for you to volunteer. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are the lifeblood of our organization. Whether you are interested in swinging a hammer, organizing a fundraiser, or serving on a committee, we welcome your participation.
Our 10,000 square-foot home improvement and resale warehouse turns donated materials into Habitat homes. Donations from individuals, big box stores, and local businesses are sold to the public at discounted prices. Unique stock changes daily making this a treasure hunt for the hundreds who shop for a cause.
