Housatonic Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce that Kristen Keil will be taking over as its new Executive Director. Kristen brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to community development to her new role.

Born and raised in Danbury, CT, Kristen’s roots run deep within the local community. She is an alumna of Immaculate High School and Western Connecticut State University, where she earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration and her Master of Business Administration degrees.

Kristen’s career spans two decades at People’s United Bank, where she held various roles culminating in her position as VP Sr Market Manager.

Kristen’s career spans two decades at People’s United Bank, where she held various roles culminating in her position as VP Sr Market Manager. Throughout her banking career, she found passion in giving back to her community through volunteering. Kristen’s philanthropic endeavors have included contributing her time and skills to local organizations such as the Bethel Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Danbury, Junior Achievement, and Newtown Youth Football & Cheer.

Her diverse background in business and her proven dedication to local causes make Kristen Keil an ideal choice for guiding Housatonic Habitat for Humanity into its next chapter. With her vision and leadership, the organization is poised to continue making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in the greater Danbury community. Kristen, along with her husband Linc and their three children, now calls Newtown their home.
