Programs

Housing +

Introducing our newest program! We’re taking a holistic approach to community assistance by leveraging local resources. Many individuals face challenges in seeking help, whether due to lack of awareness or difficulty in reaching out. That’s why we’ve partnered with a range of non-profit organizations.

Here’s How It Works:

  • We educate ourselves about the wealth of resources available in our community.
  • We share this knowledge with homeowners in need.
  • We facilitate referrals to other nonprofits, supporting homeowners not only with housing but also promoting mental and physical health equity!

Additionally, Housatonic Habitat offers a free home assessment to our community partners as part of our aging in place program, which extends to offering free home repairs to low-income seniors and veterans. This initiative enables them to age safely in the comfort of their own homes.

This program unites local nonprofits to strengthen our community outreach as a whole.
