Yard Clean Up for Seniors and Veterans on a fixed income.
Are you a senior or veteran in need of a spring yard clean-up service? Housatonic Habitat for Humanity is offering free SPRING CLEAN UP DAYS. This program runs from March 26 – May 2, 2024
Due to the overwhelming response, we are no longer accepting applications.
Eligibility Requirements for Applicants:
- Must be 60 Years or older.
- Must be the homeowner. Renters are not eligible to participate in this program.
- Must provide proof of total household income in the form of latest tax return.
- Excluding home equity, total household income or asset level cannot exceed $6,000/month
- Must provide copy of current homeowner’s insurance declaration pages
- Home must be located in one of the following CT towns: Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, New Canaan, New Fairfield, New Milford, Redding, Ridgefield, Roxbury, Sherman, Washington, Wilton and Weston.
- Must have a place to dispose of debris whether on the property or can be picked up by the town/city.
Please note that even though the team strives to assist everyone, meeting the eligibility criteria and submitting an application does not necessarily guarantee a place on the schedule for our free services.
